• Reviewing project blueprints, specifications, and proposals to make accurate estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and client.
• Researching and sourcing competitive pricing for materials, labor, and equipment necessary for each project.
• Preparing and submitting detailed cost estimates, bid proposals, and project budgets.
• Monitoring project costs throughout the construction process to ensure alignment with initial estimates.
• Identifying potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Keeping up to date with industry trends, local building codes, and changes in market pricing.
• Assisting in contract negotiations with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to maintain competitive pricing.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years of experience in cost estimation or project budgeting.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
